Hello,
First, many thanks to those that might offer any suggestions.
I'm installing Apache on an HPUX 11 machine and I used the install-bindist.sh (as root).
It went right to work, but then I got about 200 of the following errors:
tar: couldn't get gname for gid 101
tar: couldn't get uname for uid 111
tar: couldn't get gname for gid 101
....Then I got the OK message below on completion. Any Ideas what might have failed?
Ready.

You now have successfully installed the Apache 1.3.26
HTTP server. To verify that Apache actually works
correctly you should first check the (initially
created or preserved) configuration files:

| /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf

You should then be able to immediately fire up
Apache the first time by running:

| /usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl start

Thanks for using Apache. The Apache Group
