Hi all,

I am new to apache and PHP.
I would like to find out how should I do
in order to configure for apache & PHP.

How to link these together?
Any tutorials relevant? OR reference book

Thanks !!

What OS do you plan on using? Windows or unix (Linux/FreeBSD)?
The setup and installation is quite different on different platforms.

Check out for detailed info on installation for different platforms. I personally recommend FreeBSD, but that is just my prefrence.

PHP can be setup as either an Apache module or as a CGI executable. The Apache module is the fastest and safest way. Either way, once Apache is made aware of PHP and the extensions that you associate with it in the httpd.conf, PHP scripts will be parsed.
