Install 2.5" laptop drive in a desktop system??

I need to retrieve data from the hard drive that is currently in a dead laptop. What kinds of adapters will I need to allow this happen? Has anyone done it?

Yes - you can buy a special IDE adapter just for this - costs about £5 in the UK (from Maplins), probably cheaper in US. Just ask at your local friendly computer hardware store (I had to do exactly what you're wanting to).
