Instaling an OWA cert in windows vista

Hello, we have a client running windows vista who would like to access their email remotely via OWA and outlook over https. For some reason, when we download the cert off the owa site and install it in to the Trusted Root Certificate Authority, we still can't browse the owa site without getting a big security error. Also, our outlook over https still won't work and I'm assuming its because the cert isn't installed properly. Is there something I'm missing as far as installing this OWA cert correctly?
