Instalando el Repositorio Designer 6i de Oracle

Como puedo instalar el repositorio del Designer 6i, si ocurre el que hace referencia "No se tiene privilegios sobre SYS.V_$PARAMETERS..!, donde este objeto no existe en mi base de datos.

Yo he buscado en otras bases de datos Oracle 8i 1.7 igual a la mia pero tengo el mismo resultado.

Por favor me sera muy util su ayuda..!

My Spanish is good enough to get the basics of your question, but not good enough to give you a reply in Spanish, so I hope you or somebody near you can translate.

In the manual, there are instructions about privileges that must be granted to the repository owner before you can install the repository. Some of these privileges MUST be granted by SYS. Among these are SELECT privileges on several of the dynamic performance views, including SYS.V_$PARAMETERS. Unfortunately, the Check Privileges Utility under the System Administration Utility doesn't check these (it does check most of the required privileges, so do try it). So read the manual very carefully where it lists the privileges needed by the repository owner, and make sure that your owner has each one.

JFlack, el asunto de los privilegios lo comprendo muy bien, el verdadero problema es que al intentar establecer privilegios al objeto V_$PARAMETERS no existe en la base de datos, entiendo que este objeto es un sinonimo de otro sinonio, por lo cual no se establece con claridad su verdadero origen para verificar su procedencia y asi otorgar los privilegios.
