Hello dear,
Jai need to down grade our phones OpenStage 15 HFA v3 in a version that can walk with HiPath 4000 v4.
Thank you for helping us to have the best DERT, or the best files ". img " or ". app " that can help us to succeed in the down grade. Thank you also for describing the exact procedure for succeeding down grade.

On the other hand how to install HiPath 4000 ASSISTANT v4 on the hard drive of my H4K v4? Please describe the complete procedure with the tools and applications to download.

Kind regards

I'm not sure if you CAN downgrade the openstage phones, because the phones usually have minimum hardware / OS requirements to work properly, the system needs to be able to support the proper key mappings, etc. I know the Openstage phones were around for V5, because I had a couple of them to play with when I had that system. I know the STMI4 came out with V4 so that shouldn't be a hurdle.

The best opportunity you might have is to get an older version of the DERT tool if you can find one, but I don't think even that tool came out until V3 was already in service. Best bet on IP phones back then is probably the optiPoint series of phones.

As for assistant - it's strange how it wouldn't be there, as I believe it was a Unix component back then. Are you sure it's not there vs it might be there and you are just having trouble finding it? Usually when the system gets set up the Customer IP address generally points at Assistant, but if you configure a computer so that it has an IP address of 192.168.0.100 with a mask of 255.255.255.0 and you connect the computer to the service port you should be able to try accessing to get to assistant.

I'm sure someone else knows more about it than I do, but a lot of the IP stuff was still kind of new back in V4, even though the STMI was around since at least V2.
