Insight Alerts Not Registring

Has anyone seen this.

Using Insight Manager 5.5 or Insight Manager 7SP1.
Critical events do not show up untill u go into the
logs. Then u can see then.

Nothing has changed on the systems.
Just u cannot see from from main screen if a box has a critical alert. Till u accually drill down into the log.
