Using Legend 7.0 and Merlin Messaging 2.5 AutoAttendant, we allow direct extension transfers for extensions starting with 3 and 4. Is there any way to have specific numbers (e.g. 37) transfer to another number (e.g. our support department) when called from the outside, but go directly to their actual voicemail (e.g. 37) for internal calls?
 
Unfortunately, once the Auto Attendant answers the call, the call is considered an inside call.
You could create a prompt, 5,6,7,8 or 9, prompt the caller to press that digit and transfer that to a specific phantom extension which is forwarded off-site.

That's how I would get around it.
