Insertion point in column centered cannot move to top 1

Hi
I had a existing table and then I divide it in to a two column table. I have text in the left table. I now try
to insert text at the top of column two but the cursor defaults to the middle of the column and I can`t seem
to get it to the top. I tried the arrow keys but no luck.

That's the default behavior for tables.

If you want it to start at the top, you could add vertical-align: top; to your table style (or just to the column needed).
