Hi,

After a search of this forum, I have seen the question discussed, but no real resolution.

I am building a powerpoint presentation that will use a hyperlink/url to a Cognos web output generated from report studio. The link works fine, triggers the report, however I want to bring the chart back into the presentation itself rather than in a new browser window.
We are running a series of presentations for the next few months and it would be better to have dynamic content rather than refreshing the screenshot in the PPT.

Without using third-party software, can this be done relatively easily? The help file does not indicate a way forward.

Thanks in advance.

Solved it - just in case anyone is interested...
Office 2003 does not do this 'normally' but I believe 2007 supports this operation a little better.

I set up a command button and an 'web browser' area on a slide and then set a refresh action on the comand button. The vb looks something like:

Private Sub CommandButton1_Click()
Slide1.WebBrowser1.Navigate ("
End Sub
Private Sub WebBrowser1_StatusTextChange(ByVal Text As String)
End Sub

This then returns the web content to the area in the slide when the refresh/command button is clicked.

Hope this is of some use out there..
