I need to make a PDF out of a number of tifs. I open the first one as PDF, the I go to 'insert pages', and select the remaining tifs as a group. The tifs are named with sequential numbers, and the idea is they should go into the PDF in the same order they are in when I select them, but the page order is getting scrambled. Am I going to have to insert these files one by one?

Hi

Chances are that the images are getting inserted in alphabetical order, rather than the order you wish. Maybe you could rename your images to match the order you require, but make sure you zero pad the numbers to get around the old 1,10,11,2,20 chestnut of alphabetical sorting:

image00001
image00002

But i suppose that if you have to do this you might as well insert them individually. Derren
