Using a previously created document, I want to add individual pages. Every setup option shows single page, yet when I insert a blank page ( whether created from Master-A or none ) It attaches to the preceeding page like a spread. Is there any way to prevent that from happening? I have a ton of company manuals to update and this is frustrating!! Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to reply. Greatly appreciated!!

It sounds like you may need to uncheck the "Facing Pages" option.

In the File menu, click "Document Setup" and then make sure the "Facing Pages" checkbox isn't checked.

Let me know if this worked out for you.
