This system has analog Centex service. The customer wants the system to dial or insert the second 9. The Ip Office is R6 [6.0(8)] V2. The ARS entry for local and long distance is as follows: Code: 91xxxxxxxxxx (long distance) and 9xxxxxxx (local calls). Telephone number: (tried in this order) N ,then 9N ,then 9. Feature: dial , Line group Id: 0. Secondary dial tone is checked. Thanks for everyones help.

go to the system shortcode
9N
dial
N
ARS number

and change it to be
9N
dial
9N
ARS number

that way the ARS gets already the correct dialing sequence and you need to then adjust if you don't use
N
dial
N
0
which would be OK for anything
if you use 10 x's then make sure you have the 9 in front of it
N
dial
9xxxxxxxxxx
0

you can get creative with the ARS and block 1-900 and stuff too as long as you nkow that the system will send the initial 9 into the ARS you are OK

OR
add the 9 in front of every number in the ARS shortcodes and not send it into the ARS (might be easier that way)
