I want to insert multiple files into an existing pdf, but it is important that they are imported sequentially, but it seems no matter how I select them they end up out of order, for example, rather than pages 2,3,4,5,6,7,8.... it's 2,7,8,etc. Short of inserting one page at a time, is there a solution to this?

If you are selecting files from windows file explorer and draging and dropping them to your document for insertion what is happening is this:

1. Based on your clicks (ctrl + click) you are setting the order for the insertion. Make sure you reclick the first file prior to inserting it into the document.

2. Based on highlighting the selection of files and dropping them in the document for insertion (if I remember correctly) the second and last file are swapped for insertion. To fix this highlight the selection (1-8 for example) and while its highlighted select the first file again. Then dropped the the files in the document for insertion.

BTW this is not a problem with Adobe but with the way Windows handles drag and drop.
