My coworker is using CS2 on a PC. She has set her document up with multiple master pages. When she inserts a new page (Ctrl clicking on the page menu>Insert Pages and selecting the master page to apply) the pages shift (new right side text box maintains position of left side text box), a new auto page number appears along with the previous one (although the page number is correct), and a second footer and/or header appears.
We have tried applying the "none" master page option, but the old master page material stays. We have tried overriding, but that does not work. We have also tried ignoring object and layer locks, and checking each piece to see if it has been locked. And, there is only one layer on each page.
The only solution we have come up with is manually removing the unwanted items and shifting the text boxes into place, but this is incredibly time consuming and frustrating.
Has anyone else seen this issue? If so, how did you handle it?
If you can come up with the real solution, you will be our hero!
(This may be related to thread 818-1027663. We tried that too, but it didn't help.)
Thank you!
