Hello,

I am using PageMaker 7 on Windows XP. I am new to PM. Can anyone please share the basic steps to insert a .tif image into my publication?

I guess I am looking for the best practice. I have been able to copy and paste an image but I am not sure if this in the long run is best (and will require much effort to fix).

Thanks,

Michael - Do File | Place then navigate to your image. When it asks if you want to "Include a complete copy in the publication" click No. That only embeds the file and increases your file size.

I have been able to copy and paste an image
Avoid copying'n'pasting - use File -> Place as Kim says.

Kim, thanks.

The "Place" option worked great. :)
