I' creating a large form where the user can insert data (into a table called Boxes) using textboxes. The problem is that I can't get it to work. Since the form uses the table Boxes in another place I was wondering if that is the reason why new data doesn't get inserted into the Boxes-table. Does the table need to be closed before any manipulation can be done?
If that is the case, does anyone have a tip or suggestion on how this problem can be solved?

Are you using a bound form with Boxes as the recordsource, or is it unbound, and you add via VBA and SQL?

When I'm trying to insert into the table I use an unbound form, but in another part of my (large) form I use Boxes as the recordsource.
