Is it possible to insert a confidentiality statement at the bottom of outgoing emails through exchange? Something like this "This message, including files attached to it, may contain confidential information...". I know I could go around to each computer and include that in their signature but I would like exchange to insert it into each users email on the way out of exchange. Is this possible and if so could you point me to a link?

Thanks for any help.

You could probably do it through some VB scripting however this is not a built in feature of Exchange 2K. I use a spam filter called X-Wall that has the ability to add disclaimers to outgoing emails. There is another product called Policy Patrol that I have heard works good with Exchange 2k as well.

I have set up Policy Patrol on one of my Exchange Servers. This server is the mail server for our contractors and vendors and we wanted them to have a disclaimer attached to both internal and external mail. Microsoft will only support an external mail solution with their SMTP event sink. After many frustrating attempts with Microsoft to get Internal and external disclaimers, we decided to check out third party products. Policy Patrol wes very easy to install and configure. With (PP) we set up the software to querey a specific mail store and attach the disclaimers to these members. However it is very flexable and you can configure it for a specific OU or user group.
