If your existing data is in Columns A, B and C, enter a formula in column D to compute the time (C - B).

You can the use the Subtotal feature to calculate the tiome for each name. Go to Data, Subtotals, and use For each change in Name, Use function SUM, add Subtotal to TIME (or whatever heading you gave to column D).
