I have a formula within my detail section that is using a variable to store information. That variable has the correct information in every section except the page header. How can I put the value of the variable into the page header, when the variable is being set in the detail section. MANY THANKS!!!!!

Inserting a variable value in page header

The quick answer is that you can't using a variable.
What you can potentially do is create a new formula that has the same logic as the other formula, returns the value but does not set the variable.
I would like to give you an example but you didn't post your formula or tell us what it is doing. Please post more info so we can give you a better answer.
