I use AutoCAD 2000lt and have been given a drawing with a route that is 84km long but i would like to insert a point every 1km, without having to do it longhand.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

Try the command "measure"; you can have it insert points or user-defined block at intervals.

I am pretty sure that LT has the divide command which will do what you want.

...yes LT has DIVIDE..........you could also use the ARRAY command of course....

Use Measure command & have the block copied in one single shot.
