I am using Microsoft query tool on Windows 2000. Using tool I am connecting to UNIVERSE database it is on Solaris 8. Already we have some tables. I have no clue how they created. I want to create a new table using MS query tool. I am reading data using this tool. But I cannot create a new table, insert a new column. Can any one know how to solve this problem.
While I am inserting a coulmn I am getting below error message

Eroor ID:31 Severity:ERROR facility:DBCAPERR – Line 1, column 108 [around “TESTUSER”]: SQL statement referenced a nonexistent column in a table or view…

Well you did 1/2 of what you needed. You posted the error, now could you post the code that caused the error?

Also are you sure you have the 'rights' to create or modify a table?
