A short video made on my digital cam was saved as an .Mov file. Followed the very simple directions for inserting a movie into a word document but it won't work. Converted the .Mov file to an .avi file. That won't work either. The only thing that works is audio if I convert the file to .wav. (There's just some background sounds.) Have searched for an answer but all steps lead to click Insert on the menu bar, Object, Create from file... I'm using Word XP, aka Word 2002 and Win XP OS. All help references I've found are for Word 2000 and Word 2007. Is Word XP the forgotten version?

Define "won't work". What happens when you try? Have you tried saving the Word doc as html?
