Insert User ID into report instance

Is there a way to make the Crystal Enterprise User ID ("Run By" in History) show up in a scheduled instance?

You can use the "Current CE User Name" from Special Fields in your Crystal Reports design and then post it to the CE-10 environment.

There is one important Proviso.

This will ONLY work in CE-10 if you schedule your instances to PDF format. In the PDF format it displays the "Current CE User Name" at the time of the EXPORT to PDF which is the name that the Instance was scheduled under.

If your run the schedule your instances to the default RPT format, then the RPT viewer will pick-up the "Current CE User Name" of the person who is logged into CE.
