Hi!

What is the best place/way to insert a link to a statistics site like sitestat?

I'd like to insert some javascript, but I'd prefer not to re-apply the change every time OT releases a monthly patch.

I'd like to inject some javascript, to use sitestat as hitcounter, since Livelink is not equiped with an adequate usage statistics tool. (AFAIK).

The script I'd like to run is something like:

<!-- BEGIN SITESTAT CODE -->
<script language="javascript">
*** some code deleted ***
if(document.images){ns_1=new Image();ns_1.src=ns_l;}else
document.write("<img src="+ns_l+" width='1' height='1'>");}
sitestat("</script>
<!-- END SITESTAT CODE -->

I don't understand oscript that much, so I don't know where to put this code. In 9.1 we put it in menufoot.htm.

menufoot or commonheader are probably best as they appear on 99.9% of the pages.

As for statistics, then out of the box Livelink does not offer much more than being able to query DAUDIT events. However, as Livelink is a web based tool, you are probably better querying the IIS weblogs for the information you require if you don't want to display it on the page.
