insert new record datagrid view

Greetings:

i am developed quick asp page to allow data edits and insertion of new records into sql 2000 table using vs2005.

Just used the wizard to set up the data grid and checked "allow insertions, deletes and edits".

Selecting, sorting, edits and deletions all appear as options on the data grid but "new" does not. Insert statement is included in the source html but cannot get the "new" button to appear.

Any thoughts?

If you set the ReadOnly property then the new record will be the last row of the datagridview.
Perhaps, you need to handle the DefaultValuesNeeded event of the DGV, especially when the table has primarykeys.
