Insert macro to Outlook toolbar

I have never programmed in Vbasic, but just want to figure out how to write a script that will allow someone to click an icon in ms outlook, it would attach an inserted document automatically into the outgoing mail, that when someone brings it up would open the message and the doc in a seperate window. just looking for a starting point.
