I've got a form based on a query which links 3 tables. Is there any way to use this form to add new records? I can accomplish the same task by linking directly to each table using a form with 2 sub forms but this is really messy. -Dustin

If you bring your query (with the 3 tables) up in Query Datasheet View you can see whether you can add records. You should be able to do this.

Take care over which of the key/foreign key fields you choose. One of them (I think it is the key of the referenced table rather then the foreign key of the referring table) gives you autolookup, which is a neat Access feature mike.stephens@bnpparibas.com
