insert IDkey number into another frm

Hello, I have a adp Datenbank and am trying to copy a number from 1 textfield in one formular into another formular. I know how it works with a mdb datenbank but am having problems with my adp datenbank. I have a formular and am trying to open a new formular which will have information over the first formular. = have tried -->
= [formular]![frmname]![textfield] but it does not work. can anyone help me out ?
