Greetings All,
I have a 2000 db that is split. The front end(s) reside on several
work stations and the backend resides on the server.
On one of the forms there is a sub form that allows the users to
link to scanned documents. The scanned documents reside in a
seperate folder on the server.
Only one person has been linking the scanned doc's. This week
several people have been linking to the scanned doc's. Since this
has happened I have been told that when they attempt to go across
the network to the scanned doc's folder their pc's lock up.
I used a macro on the sub form to link to the scanned doc's:
RunCommand
EditHyperlink
When run this opens the Microsoft Insert Hyperlink dialog allowing
the user(s) the ability to navigate to the path of what ever
hyperlink they wish.
I wonder if the pc's locking up is perhaps a network problem?
Has anyone in the group encountered this type of problem? If so what
or how did you fix it?
Regards,
John
