Insert Date in a Field

Could someone tell me how to insert date on PERVASIVE, ihave a table with a date field, i alway got an database error when i try to insert a record, i am using asp as front end

when i try to run the insert sql in the pervasive database the error
it gives this erro
ODBC SQLSTATE = 22008 NATIVE error code=0
Invalid date,time or time stamp value

her is the error in front end (ASP)

Run-Time error '12147217900(80040e14);
[Pervasive][Odbc Client Interface][LNA][Pervaiive][ODBC Engine Interface]Invalid date, time or timestamp value.

I get this when I attempt to bring in a date from a record soruce. if I leave the data filed out the sql runs fine.

See Thread709-726548. Also works for up to 8.6, haven't tested on version 9.

Should work for V9 as well. The Date field specifications haven't changed in v9.

This would apply only to a "Date" field.
