I have a spreadsheet with transaction data for each customer. Column A is the customer number. Some customers have one transaction, some have many. I want to insert a blank row after the last transaction for each customer. Is there an automatic way to do that?

Thanks.

Hi,

"Say it ain't so, Joe!"

You do realize that you destroy the usefulness of your table when you inset empty rows, do you not?

You might consider some other method of emphasizing the Customer divisions that will leave your table in tact for useful analysis and reporting.

Some other methods to consider might be:
1) use the Conditional Formatting feature to display a dividing line, or shade/HIDE the Customer Name when it is repeated
2) use the PivotTable feature to report
3) increase the Row Height of the last row for each Customer

But PLEASE, do not decimate your table with empty, vain repetitions.
