Insert a text object in cross-tab

I am using crystal reports 8 and I cannot insert a text object right to Row#1 Name.
Any idea how to achieve that?
I have seen it in a report created with crystal reports 10.

The text should be repeated as the rows are repeated.

Create a formula like this:

whilereadingrecords;
"Your Row Name"

Add this as your first row field.

The only other way is to add a text box to the upper left hand corner, but it is very difficult to align this properly so that it appears correctly on virtual pages.
