Insert a "continued overleaf" marker 1

Hello experts,

I have a risk register report, in which the risk information is contained in a Group Header, and the Mitigation Actions are in the details.

I've used "InRepeatedGroupHeader" to provide a "Continued" label when the detail spreads over more than one sheet, but I'd like to put "Continues overleaf" at the bottom of the first page.

Example: (everything is in place except the bit in red)

Page header (page 1)
Group header
detail1
detail2
detail3
* [red]"continues overleaf"[/red]
page footer
page header (page2)
Repeated group header
"Continued"
detail4
detail5
group footer

Any suggestions very gratefully received. Thanks!

Place a text object in the page footer, "continues overleaf".

Right click, Format text, and click on the x2 beside suppress. enter :

pagenumber = TotalPageCount

and save. The "continues overleaf" will appear on every page except the last.

Thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately perhaps I failed to explain the problem clearly.

I only want to put the "continues overleaf" label in when the Details for a particular group extend onto a second page. If the Group Header, details and Group Footer all fit on one page, and the next group starts on the next page, then there is no need for the label.

You could create a formula:

if next({table.groupfield}) = {table.groupfield} then "continues overleaf" else ""

Place this in the page footer.

lbass - top banana! That's just what I needed, many thanks.

I only modified it slightly to include &quot;and PageNumber < TotalPageCount&quot; to prevent it triggering on the last page.
