Insert 300 project plans into MS Project 2003 1

Question - i am in the practice of inserting less than 20 project plans into a programme plan in MS Project 2003 and producing a consolidated view.

IS is possible to insert up to 300 / 400 project plans into a MS Project 2003 plan blank template and filtering specific information without incurring any problems??????? File sizes of the low level project plans will vary and i will jsut be providing links to them rather than inserting.

Should i use project server??? never used before.

In the upper right corner of the Project display there is an empty box where you can enter a help request. Enter:

Project specifications

According to the display "Consolidated projects" has a maximum of 998.

Note that this will depend on a variety of variables including disk space, RAM, etc., etc., etc.

Project Server is not designed to provide a solution to the problem you describe. (It might work for you, but that's not why people use it.)
