I have a report I am doing based off a query date range, I inserted 2 unbound objects into the report header and assigned them =([StartDate]) and so forth with the end date to show the range on the report now when I run the report the peramators promt me for the dates twice, is there a way that I can only type my date range in once and have it update automaticly.

Generally, when you are prompted again for the parameters, it means that something has been incorrectly typed in.

First of all, make sure that the parameters you show in the report are exactly the same as what you show in the query. Therefore one text box would have the control source as =[StartDate] and the other would have the control source as =[EndDate]

You could also do everything with one unbound text box with the following control source...
="This report covers the period of time from " & [StartDate] & " to " & [EndDate]

Another, preferable in my view, approach would be to create a form in which you enter the parameters, and run the run the report (based on the query) from that form.
