Inquiry for Tektronix Phaser 740 printing quality

Hello!

I got a pre-owned tektronix 740 laser printer from eBay.
It had been used in FAA for 6+ years with 100000 printing job.

When the seller tested a basic menu (start page) printing, it was OK but when I printed many different pages at home, it showed several problems:

(1) Irregular scar-like spots (arrows in the picture) are appeared in color printing (esp. left side).
(2) Black fonts creat trace of ink (arrow in the picture).

I appreciate if any of you explain the source of troubles and suggest practical solutions.

What are the consumable levels? Replace any that are below 20%. Check the fuser for wear, and any build up of toner.

Thanks for your reply.
I found the source of problems.
The fuser roll has several defects.
It has crack which has same shape as the hole in the picture and heavily-smeared ink on the left side.
I think the main roller of the fuser is the most critical part for good quality printing job in the laser printer.
