Hello all,

I just updated my Networker version to 7.1 and my JNI FCE-6460 2gb fibre HBA to driver version 5.3. When I perform an inquire none of my tape devices appear on the list. I updated the lus.conf file (from the Legato website) and verified the st.conf file is correct to show my HP Ultrium drives. I am not sure if there is something else that I need to tweak with Legato to show these devices.

Previously, I was running Legato 7.0 with JNI driver version 5.2.1 with no problems (native drivers). Using the JNI ezf utility I am able to verify that the OS recognizes the devices and device files have been built.

Any ideas from you Legato guru's?

Thanks in advance and cheers

Did you use the right options: "inquire -cl" ?

605,

That worked! May the sun shine on you for the rest of your days! I also found inquire -c helpful when no other activity is on the bus.

Cheers!
