When I do a "Show interface" on the PIX 515 firewall and going through the output, I see
"input queue (curr/max blocks): hardware (128/128) software (0/94)"

Can anyone explain what the input queue (curr/max blocks)
and hardware (128/128) software (0/94) means?

Please help, we are currently trying to troubleshoot a
weblogic connectivity issue (getting to homepage) and we
want to rule out the PIX.

Thanks in advanced.

The input queue counter indicates how many packets are arriving at the interface, if the unit is busy processing data the packets queue up waiting to be accepted.
If the queue is exceeded then packets will be dropped.

Current is the instantaneous value at the time you look, Max is as it suggests, max value seen.
