I have a field of size 20 which can accept only letters and spaces. What would be a suitable input mask? I have searched help and there's only 1 possibility for letters, and that's L, but it doesn' accept space.

You may try twenty question marks :

Hello PHV.

Sorry for the lateness in thanking you for this post. Its because I tried the ? only recently. Now I got one problem when changing the input mask. The form I created was not updated with the input mask. Even if I used ? the fields still accepted numbers. I had to rebulid the form then it worked.

Now why is this so? Is there any way to make a form work on input masks which are added after the form was created?

You don't have to "rebuild" the form. Just change the Input Mask property of the text box on the form.
