Hi,
I am a Foxpro programmer learning VB6. We have a datagrid in Foxpro that is very powerful in terms of formatting and masking data. I am looking for a grid in VB that is data-aware, but also includes the ability to provide separate input masks in each column the user types data in. As far as I am aware, none of the standard grids in VB provide an actual input mask (like the masked edit box) although you can format data.

Does anyone know of a good grid that provides the above? It must be freeware as this poor programmer is broke!

Thanks,
Trimtrom

Try using a Flexgrid with overlaid controls of your choice. There are good details here: faq222-3262

You can also search this forum for 'MSFlexgrid' and/or 'Floating textbox'.
