I have seen this question asked before with no responses. So far I have been able to find very little information about applying an input mask to a data access page.

Can anyone explain this procedure to a beginner?

Thank you!

Typically you'd have an html object and then use VBScript to interact via events. The trouble here is whilst the html text box can trigger events on each keystroke, I can't off-hand see how you can position the cursor. So you could insert a default string as the mask, check and rewrite the field after each keystroke but the cursor would keep getting put back to the start of the field.

Perhaps this works with Java? Try them.
