Hi,

I've two win2k servers, one is DC and the other is my Exchange server2k and file server. I'm planning to upgrade to win2003 server and exchange 2007 server. Unfortunattely, I do not have new servers to do a fresh install of win2003 server and exchange 2007. So an inplace upgrade is my only option. Had anyone done an inplace upgrade? please share your experiences and stuffs that I should be watching out for.

Thanks,

Kevin

You can't upgrade your Exchange server, you have to build a new one with 64-bit 2003 R2 Server software then migrate from the old to the new. You could try to upgrade your 2000 Server...but I'd highly advise against it and if I were consulting for you and you said no, I'd refuse the job.

I'm Certifiable, not cert-ified.
It just means my answers are from experience, not a book.
