Hi,

I've installed a Domino 6 Server, and I've migrated some Users from the version 5.05.

Now the input is to use the Inotes Web Access client for them.

So I've changed their template to the inotes60.ntf and set their internet password, but when they try to connect to the Inotes client it doesn't ask for User and Password, and it returns a lot of runtime errors (not finding some objects and views expected).

The page displayed to them is a white Webpage with some yellow frames, no text or output is displayed and it is impossible any kind of input.

So i tirerd to create a new user directly in the new Domino 6 Server, with the inotes template and it works well.

Have someone any idea about what's wrong?

Thanks.

Regards,

Paolo

Check the current design of their mailbox. Are there any design elements that have the option "prohibit design refresh or replace to modify" selected? If yes: evaluate if you can de-select this option.

Then replace the design of their mailbox again.
Use the "load convert" command on the console to do this.

Kind regards,

Effectively I've found some views with the "prohibit design refresh or replace to modify" option

selected.
Unfortunately also unchecking those fields and refreshing the database design with the load convert command it doesn't works.

The situation is not changed,

They do not come demanded username and password and they remain is the errors of Runtime that the wrong visualization of the welcome page.

In any case thanks for the council.

Some other idea?

Many thanks and kind regards,

Paolo

If a new mailbox works, then a "replace design" of their old mailbox should also work...

Did you check on the console if the design was really replaced or did you get an error?

A desparate fix: if it are not to many users: just create new mailboxes for them and copy and paste all their documents from the old to the new mailbox (use an agent to move the documents if you want to preserver the original creation dates).
