I plan to install a Domino 5.0.9 Mail server on a Red Hat Linux box. I'm new to Lotus, so my terminology may be a little off.  During the installation, I get the message "iNotes is not supported on the Linux platform".  From what I understand, iNotes is the web-based access to the Domino server, kind of how Outlook Web Access is
Microsoft's web-based access to Exchange Server.  If this is correct, then does the message mean that I can't do web-based access to the Domino server if its installed on a Linux box?  If I cannot do it on Linux (which is my first choice), then can I do it on Solaris?

I want to confirm one more thing.  No software is required on the client to access Domino via a web browser?

Thanks in advance for your help,
ChrisP

iNotes is supported on solaris sparc, but not on solaris/intel.
The 'normal' domino http support runs also on linux and solaris/intel.
Only the communiation/replikation between the inotes client and the server goes via the "dominoserver api" witch isn't compieled for linux or solaris/intel
