Inotes cannot send

I have a user where they can use iNotes to look at mail and read it without a problem. However, when they reply to a mail or even create from scratch, when they press the send button, immediately it comes up with a blank page that shows "internet explorer cannot display this web page". The message is not sent. They have turned off any pop up blockers for this. They are the only user using iNotes to access e-mail (as they are currently laid up in bed using a laptop).

Any thoughts on where I should be looking?

What version of iNotes? Usually I've found that stuff like this is related to a Java error - you could have the user display the Java console to see if there are any errors recorded (in IE I think it's under Tools/Java console).
