INOP the 2616 speaker

For security purposes, I need to silence the
speaker on 2616 sets for all functions except ringing.
HFD will not fit the bill. Manual speaker volume control will not either.

Cut the speaker wires and put and analog ringer next to the digital phone with the same number.

Thanks guys, Yes we can convert 100+ phones with a ringer on the Nortel side. I was hoping for a S/W fix. I will have the same problem with the CISCO IP phone. Is there a better fix for them? (IP).
