CA dropped support for InoculateIT/Inoculan v 4.x for Windows effective March 17, 2004. I know they were continuing to issues signature updates after that but it looks like they finally got around to pulling it completely. The ftp site doesn't appear to have the signatures for InoculateIT 4.53 anymore.

The drop support notification is here:

I saw CA had stopped support on 4.53 and was unable to find the updates on the FTP but we have another site that has 4.53 and it is still updating although the setup (ftp address etc.) appear to match.

Thoughts..??

Thanks

I'm sorry, I don't. We moved to version 6.0 2 1/2 years ago. Since CA has dropped support your best bet is probably to upgrade.

We haven't update to v7.0 or v7.1 yet because, checking CA's open forums, there are still some problems with them.

Cheers.

Were you getting CURRENT updates?

As of several weeks ago (not sure when) was still connecting with ftp site, but the signature file I was getting was just the last one they published when they dropped support. It would be several months old by now.

I tried to drag use of 4.53 out as long as possible for some old NT boxes as the new version is a bit of resource hog compared with 4.53.

JimInKs,

These were not current updates, you were right it was just pulling the old update. We have replaced the AV Software now

Thanks
