I recently bought a new HP inkjet printer, mainly because the cost of the ink cartridges for my old printer were starting to rival the price of a new printer. It seems the older cartridges are more expensive, thus driving consumers to buy new printers. Well ... the new printer's cartridges are approximately 2/3 the size of the old ones, and they are being consumed at an alarming rate. I'm lucky to get 100 pages out of one stinking cartridge. I know laser cartridges are very pricey, but I'm guessing that the capacity is much greater than the inkjet cartridges. Is that so?
