Is it possible to make a macro run automatically every time you change a particular cell's content or do you have to trigger it by Tools, Macro..., Run or a keyboard shortcut?

Dump the macro in the Worksheet_Change event (right-click the Sheet1 item and select View Code in the VB Editor. From there you can test (use a simple if statement) to see if the cell you are focused on should cause the macro to run.
